What’s Coming Soon to 8b8t

8b8t has always been evolving, and that is not changing anytime soon. While the server itself remains anarchy at its core, the infrastructure around it is being improved to better support long-term stability, customization, and player control.

New In-House Shop Website

Over the past few months, many of you have probably noticed that we’ve been actively updating the main website. This includes things like the new player stats page (currently still in Beta), along with backend improvements that most people won’t directly see.

The next major step is moving away from CraftingStore and developing our own in-house shop system.

CraftingStore has served its purpose, but it is extremely limited in terms of customization and features. It does not allow us to fully match the design and functionality of the main 8b8t website, and it restricts how we manage ranks and server-wide events.

The new shop will be built specifically for 8b8t. This means:

  • A fully integrated design matching the main website
  • More advanced rank management features
  • Better handling of server-wide events (such as dupe events, item events, etc.)
  • Improved performance and reliability
  • More flexibility for future updates

This is not just a visual upgrade. It’s a complete backend overhaul that gives us full control going forward.

New Anti-Bot System

Bots have been an ongoing issue, especially spam bots that join purely to flood chat and disrupt gameplay.

We are currently working on a new anti-bot system designed to target and filter out these spam bots more effectively.

However, this will not interfere with legitimate player-made bots.

We understand that bots are part of anarchy culture. Many players use them for:

  • Chat interaction
  • Clan communication
  • Utility purposes

The goal is simple:

  • Remove spam bots
  • Keep player-controlled bots untouched

This system is being designed carefully to avoid false positives while still being aggressive enough to deal with large-scale bot attacks.

Final Notes

8b8t will continue to improve where it matters without compromising what makes it anarchy.

No gameplay restrictions are being added.
No core mechanics are being removed.

These updates are focused on infrastructure, performance, and giving both players and the server more control over how things operate.

More updates will be announced soon.
